Presented in the opening of the 64th Berlinale, The Grand Budapest Hotel will open DaKINO 23rd

Having its world premiere in the opening of the 64th Berlinale, The Grand Budapest Hotel will be premiering in Romania in the opening of the 23rd edition of DaKINO International Film Festival, Wednesday, March 12th.

Wes Anderson’s most recent film depicts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend.

Starring Ralph Fiennes and Tony Revolori, the cast features names such as F. Murray Abraham, Mathieu Amalric, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Harvey Keitel, Jude Law, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Tom Wilkinson, and Owen Wilson.

Nominated for three Academy Awards, Wes Anderson is known for titles Rushmore (1998), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009), and Moonrise Kingdom (2012).
Screening in the opening of the 23rd edition of DaKINO courtesy of Odeon Cineplex, the film will be premiering in cinemas across the country March 21st.

DaKINO International Film Festival will run 12th to 16th March in Bucharest.
The 23rd edition of the Festival is organized by the DaKINO Foundation and FAMart Cultural Boutique, with the support of the National Film Center and of Bucharest District 3 City Hall.
